We collect the following when you place an order or use our site:
- Name, phone number, delivery address, and (optional) email
- Order contents, totals, and chosen payment method
- Payment confirmation tokens from Paymob (we never store card numbers)
- Technical data: device type, browser, and general location (city level)
We do not collect national ID numbers, passport numbers, or banking credentials.
2. How we use your data
- Processing and delivering your orders
- Sending order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts
- Responding to customer service requests via WhatsApp or email
- Improving our products and site performance
- Preventing fraud and complying with Egyptian law
3. Who we share data with
We only share what is strictly required to fulfil your order:
- Bosta — name, phone, and address for delivery
- Paymob — order ID and amount for card payments
- Resend — email address for transactional messages
- Supabase — order data storage (hosted within the EU)
We never sell your data. We never share your data with advertisers or third-party marketers.
4. Data retention
Order and delivery data are retained for 7 years to comply with Egyptian commercial and tax law. You may request deletion of your account and marketing data at any time.
5. Your rights
Under Egyptian Data Protection Law (No. 151/2020), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data (subject to legal retention periods)
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
- File a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Center

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies without your explicit consent.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the site, encrypted database storage, and access controls limited to authorised staff. Payment card data is handled entirely by Paymob and never touches our servers.
8. Children
Our site is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us to request deletion.
